Competent Parent to Emcee for a Good Cause

Please excuse a brief plug:  I'm going to emcee a music festival in March to benefit Haiti H2O, an all-volunteer Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that works to bring hope and opportunities to Haiti.

Details are still emerging, but here's what I know so far:
CHANTE ("song" in Creole)
Saturday March 24
Church of the Ascension, Oakland, New Catacombs
4:30-10 pm
music, art, fun and food
Donation amounts still TBD, but it's a fundraiser, people.

Performer lineup at the moment (in no particular order):
Meeting of Important People
Pet Clinic
Boulevard of the Allies
Brooke Annibale
Elise Massa
Daniel Snoke
and the dreamy
Mark Williams

At five and a half hours long, organizers expect people to attend in an open house fashion, attending some part or parts of the event.  I think it's going to be a fun night.  If you want to get involved in making it happen or telling people about it, let me know, and I'll connect you.

Sunday Haiku: the Zen of Grilled Cheese

Great grilled cheese starts with
low heat.  And watch: the second
side grills up faster.
